Borders Pack or Frames Pack

Select the pack in question and then look for the "Restore" button. Tap that button and you will be prompted for your iTunes login. You must use the same iTunes ID that you used to make your original purchase.

Filter, Sticker or other

If one of the above is missing you need to access it through the photo editor. So first start a new collage. Next add a photo to the collage. This will open the photo editor (expect on iPad you must double tap the photo to open the editor). Next select the "Effects" button at the bottom. Scroll the bottom buttons from left to right to reveal the "Shop" button. Select that and now look in the top left corner for a "Restore" button. Tap that button and you will be prompted for your iTunes login. You must use the same iTunes ID that you used to make your original purchase.

In order to post from Pic Stitch to Facebook you must be signed into Facebook in the iOS Settings. To do this open the Settings app (that's the grey icon that looks like a gear). Scroll down until you find Facebook. Tap that and then sign in to Facebook here. These are built in Facebook settings specifically for iOS, they are not related to Pic Stitch in any way and Pic Stitch, as well as all other apps will still have to explicitly ask you for permisson in order to access Facebook. After you have signed in you can reopen Pic Stitch and you should be able to post to Facebook directly from the app now.

Every once and a while on the iPad the app is not notified that the app is in landscape mode. When this happens the toolbar can be drawn in the wrong location. Luckily there is a very easy fix. Simply turn off the device orientation lock if it is on, then rotate your device 90 degrees. This will force everything to be redrawn. At this point you can rotate back to your preferred viewing angle and everything should be fine.

Under the Export menu look for the "Print to Walgreens" option. This is available only in the United States. Follow the order process to select your nearest Walgreens store and order your print. When your print is ready to be picked up you will get an email from Walgreens. Pay at the time you pick up your photo.

When upgrading to another iOS device, you can transfer the app's data by doing a proper backup and restore.  This means you can transfer saved settings and unlocked collages from the "Free Layout of the Day" rewards.  Please note that it is not possible to transfer app data from iOS to Android devices and vice versa.

  1. Perform a proper back-up from your old device using iCloud or iTunes.  Please follow this guide for more information: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203977.
  2. On your new device, perform a proper restore of your old device using iCloud or iTunes.  Please follow this guide for more information: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184.
  3. After the restore is complete, wait for the Pic Stitch app to be reinstalled automatically via the App Store.
  4. Once the Pic Stitch app is automatically reloaded, launch the app.  You should see all of the apps data restored on the new device, including unlocked collages and any purchased packs.

After you select a photo the Photo Editor opens. The buttons at the bottom of the photo editor are scrollable from right to left. Scroll them until you find the Text button or the Meme button. The Text button lets you put text anywhere on the image. The Meme button lets you create a Meme on the photo, which is, half of the text message on the top of the image and the other half on the bottom.

Pic Stitch fits as much of your image into the frame as possible without leaving any empty space. The reason is that the empty space looks bad. You can do one of two things to try to get the effect that you want.
One is that you can choose an aspect that better fits the images you plan to use. For example if you are using landscape photos choose a landscape aspect like 7x5 or 16x9. You can change the aspect by tapping the "Aspect" button.
The other option is to simply use a different type of collage app. The sister app to Pic Stitch is called Photo Collage Creator and it is designed to allow you to create free style collages. You can find it here:

There are actually two upgrades available. The first is called the Borders Add-On Pack and the second is the Frames Add-On Pack. The Borders Pack will give you added features to change the border color, size, texture and round the corners. These features are available from the toolbar at the top of the main collage creation page. If you have this toolbar, then you have the Borders Pack.

The Frames Pack unlocks all of the 160+ collage layouts. You can always check the email receipt that Apple sends to you to see which pack you have purchased.
